Hyun Cho (born in 1982, Seoul) studied Painting at the University of Sydney (2009) and completed a Master's degree at the Parsons School of Design in New York (2012) as a scholarship recipient. Her interdisciplinary practice weaves texts drawn from American pop culture with
sociopolitical references tied to Northeast Asia, examining issues of identity and globalization. Among her accolades, Cho was nominated for the Zelda Stedman Grant (2008) and has participated in several prestigious residencies, including Viafarini-In-Residence (2020, 2023) and
Palazzo Monti (2018). She has exhibited in venues such as Galleria Ramo (Como, 2019, 2023). Edicola Radetzky (Milan, 2022), and Fowler Project Space (Brooklyn, 2013), establishing her
reputation on the international stage.
